Can anyone identify this brand/logo on some vintage eyeglass frames?

Picture here . Made in france. 70s or 80s. Looks like a G and a Q combined.

Looks like part of an older Gucci logo with the linked/mirrored G partially missing - they are owned by a French company.

It looks close to one of the old Armani logos. They use a different GA circular logo now.
