Looking for showcases of great photography on the web! Specifics inside.
I’m on the hunt for blogs/Tumblrs/what-have-you, that showcase interesting photography by various artists, but I’m happy to take artist websites, too. I'd prefer for the art to speak for itself, but I'd be fine with an artist statement, bio, or interview here or there.
I’m interested in mainly street photography, urban landscapes, documentary photography, and also more conceptual fine art. I’m also happy with portraiture, still life, night photography, and some nature work.
I’m not interested in sweeping landscapes that were taken on the most photogenic island in the world from a helicopter, sunrise city vistas taken from the 274th floor, fashion/beauty editorials, babies, weddings, wildlife, sports, macro, food, or product photography.
Looking at pictures that could have been taken outside my door is really inspiring, and reminds me just how profoundly an artist can transform an every day person, place, or thing just by having an artistic viewpoint and statement.
Fantastic title quote by none other than Abraham Lincoln.

You must be familiar with Humans of New York, but I'm putting this here anyway just in case.

Burn Magazine
PDN Photo of the Day
Both of these are updated frequently and show work from a range of serious photographers, often in the categories you're interested in, but sometimes not. They're a little more formal than a personal blog or tumblr of favorites, though, and often include artists' statements.

Trevor Christensen's nude portraits ("The photographer was naked, the subjects were not") is interesting and kindof fun.

[Note that the safe-for-workness of these links cannot be 100% guaranteed, not even the one about shrubs.]
Redesign notwithstanding, some of the more strictly curated flickr groups like Hardcore Street Photography, COLOR Street and Street Minimalism are still great. Even if posting has slowed slightly, they still have deep pools to draw from. And even though it's totally dead I have to plug an old favourite, populated by vegetation—your source for inspired shrubbery, dead trees, hedges and other vegetation presented in new and wonderful ways.

I'm just going to go and plug my current project Watershed which I have been approaching the shooting with a mindset of blending your aforementioned genres of street photography, urban landscapes, and documentary photography. I think you'll enjoy given what you state you are after.
And to not make it all about me, here are a few others who aren't the typical heavy weights of the photography world with similar works.
K. Praslowicz (myself) - Watershed
Mark Brautigam - On Wisconsin
Richard Colburn - Eveleth Clown Band, Mesabi, Midwest
Thomas Gardiner - Untitled USA

On 500px.com you can browse both by category and (sort of) by quality. The basic "fresh" stream is what's being posted in real time, and the upcoming, popular, and editors streams are more highly ranked or curated.
