Can married lesbians be foster parents in Utah?

Mrs. Timp and I have become very interested in becoming foster parents in the next 6-12 months. I have read every many foster parent threads on this website but haven't found the answer to my question.
I understand that LGBT folk foster in other states, but I'm not sure if it gets the go-ahead in Utah. We were married the first day it was legal here (yay) and have been together 4 years. We own our house, both have stable jobs with good incomes and flexibility on changing our workloads to accommodate a child. We have an extra bedroom, can child-proof the house etc. We even have a giant, fenced-in backyard!
I've read this website back to front but it doesn't mention same-sex couples, just that you have to be married. Is this the new normal? I know there are classes we need to take, a home study that needs to be completed, etc but I have this question. Also, any practical advice on the home study and other items? I know it is a technical, trying process, but I don't mind red tape and bureaucracy. I'm weird like that. Thank you kindly.

A family law attorney in Utah likely can offer practical advice about the foster care process, and LGBT & Allied Lawyers of Utah may be able to help you find an attorney. General information about finding an attorney is available at the MeFi Wiki Get a lawyer page.
