How can I find other men's pants that are cut just like this one perfect pair of pants I have (CPO Provisions "skinny chino" from Urban Outfitters)?

Please hope me, y'all, these are the only pants that have ever fit me right. I randomly picked up a pair of these on sale in size 36 x 32. As you can see, they're not really "skinny", despite the name; just well-fitted.

I can never find pants that both fit my waist and have a flattering cut down the leg-- they either open up to a billowy, hula-hoop-sized ankle hole or hug my lower legs in a death grip that makes me worried I'll split the pants if I bend my knees. But these are perfect!

How do I find other pants that are cut just like this? I know the easy answer is "buy more of these pants", but the problem is, while it's not super-fugly bieberclothes like most of the stuff at Urban Outfitters, these pants have a lot of details on them that make them look more casual or trend-attempty than I'd want in all situations, especially the cuffs (which are structural and don't unroll).

Nice. That particular cut (loose but tapered, for a casual tailored look) is what J. Crew specializes in.

Response by poster: Thanks, those do look nice. The idea of spending that much on a pair of pants makes my heart palpitate a little (The Perfect Pants were something like $9.99) but if that's what it takes I can probably suck it up. Sure hope there's cheaper though!

You are my boyfriend, and he LOVES these pants from H&M so much that we bought him one of each colour. He has no problem wearing them to work, either.

He got them on sale for under $20 as well. You just have to watch for sales.

There are various companies that will take a pair of pants and "clone" them for you.

You might want to check out Old Navy's various slim fit offerings, which I've become a fan of for the same reason; they're close fitting but not skin tight. (My only complaint is that the rise tends to be lower than I'd like, but that describes pretty much every mass-produced pair of men's pants in the 21st century.)

You know you can take a pair of pants with a billowy leg in to a tailor and for $20 or so they'll make them look like they were cut specifically with your shape in mind?

I always make a point to look at the clearance rack for khakis and such because if I can get a good fit around the waist and it's not a tight fit anywhere else, I can just pay a few extra bucks and get them tailored to look much, much better. Found a pair of last year's khakis at Gap for $20, paid my $20 tailoring and for $15 less than their retail on new pants I had a pair that fit me a helluva lot better.

If you go for Old Navy, try on every pair you buy (or be prepared to take them in for exchange). Their quality control/consistency is kind of terrible (at least in womens).

My boyfriend also has and loves those H&M pants in a bunch of colours and also wears them to work with his buttondowns and no one looks at him twice. He also has giant calves so faces similar slim-fit calf width issues and has no problem with the H&M pants.

Those look rather similar to the Dockers Alpha Khaki, Skinny Tapered pants that I pretty much live in for work.

I buy them for about $30 a pair when there's a sale at Dockers.com. They're snug but not too snug, made of reasonably soft cotton, and I can wear them to work for two to three years. After that they become great casual pants.
