Make webcam public (hikvision)

I have a couple of Hikvision network camera's (DS-2CD2032) and I would like to make one them visible on my website without having to enter username and password or giving access to the control pannel.

Before I even go to the port forwarding. The first problem I encounter that I cant see the video stream without entering a username and password on my local network. I have spend hours combing tough the manual and tried countless settings to no avail.

I know nothing about that camera (never even heard of the brand), but I've encountered some, ahem, less than secure models where the page that hosts the stream is password-protected, but the stream itself isn't. If you go into the source HTML and get the stream URL, you can then embed that in another page and have it work. Yours probably isn't that bad, but it's worth a try if you haven't already. (You'd still need to forward the ports to access it from outside of your local network, of course.)

It's explained on page 64 of the manual.

Response by poster: In my manual page 64 is about "Display information on Stream" and "Configuring Target Cropping"
