Frooty ____ remix?

I used to have some 50+ min long remixes called Tooty Frooty or Frooty Booty...they were a series only up to about 4 I think. On this guy's site, the first one had a picture of an orange, which may have been dancing.

The songs would combine the Beetles with rap and country (Beetles + "ain't nothing but a gold digger" for example). The first song of the first "frooty" mix was very "twangy" country about a woman who wants god to give her a car.

I can't find this anymore on my computer and search brings up nothing.

Sounds like something to do with Bootie. It's a "bootleg" (hence "bootie") mashup party. There's a "Best of Bootie" CD released every year, and free downloads released every month.

The mashup you're referring to sounds like it involves Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz."

Twangy + Janice Joplin sounds like it would have started with this. How long ago did you here these mixes?

Best answer: A previous mashup AskMe links to Frooty Booty mixes. There's a mashup of Beck's "Go it Alone" with Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz" three minutes into the first one.
