Help me decorate a door....

I'm going to be decorating a hotel door soon and I'm TOTALLY cheating by asking for your help....
I sing with the Atlanta Women's Chorus and we are going on a retreat soon. There is a door decorating contest... I'm very competitive and I want to win. The retreat is around Halloween, but that's too easy.... That's all the info I know right now.... If you had to decorate a hotel room door for a chorus retreat (lord, that is nerdy!) what would you do? Simple is better.... I'm lazy... Anything goes, bawdy is fine.

Response by poster: This is a first time event and the headline of our next concert is "keep on singing ". Plethora of music styles. Good question.

How much damage are you allowed to do to the hotel door? Paint? Nails? Screws? Is the door fixed in place or can it be taken off and worked on elsewhere? Can you bring your own door?

Best answer: I would make the door look like a big mouth (inspiration here, here, here) and then hack a singing greeting card to make a doorbell.

I thought "mouth", too, but more like the Monty Python Sings mouth (or the Rolling Stones one).

Get a photo of the inside of the hotel room from just outside the open door. Cover the door with a photorealistic (or as close as you can get) illustration of the door being open and a wild ruckus/your dead body/as many choral in-jokes as you can think of happening "inside" the room.

Response by poster: Can't take off the door.... this is something that will need to be done quickly...... and transported easily to the hotel.....
