Help me case these joints!

I recently picked up a set of these behind-head earphones. The frame is plastic and I'm worried that they might get broken if they're folded up and stuffed in a bag or my pocket. Help me find an appropriate carrying solution?

I'm looking for something along the lines of a 'hard' enclosure, similar in design to a glasses case. The problem is the dimensions; folded, the headphones are 5.5"x3.5"x2". I haven't had much luck finding something with those interior dimensions.

Are you sure you can't find a glasses case to fit them? Cases for sunglasses can get quite large. If not, have you tried visiting a store that sells (video)cameras and/or GPS/navigation devices? Cases for those things might get to be roughly what you need, although likely not completely hard cases.

Best answer: FWIW, I have those exact same headphones. I abuse the hell out of them, putting them at the bottom of stuffed panniers for long rides, throwing them into the bottom of backpacks, sticking them in my pocket, etc., and the only damage they have ever sustained is that the controls became quite sticky after they accidentally ended up soaked in beer.

So, capsule version, I wouldn't worry about it too much. They're tougher than they look.

Response by poster: Good to know they're tougher than they look.

I've also found that a Lowepro Santiago DV35 case fits these headphones quite well.
