Identify cartoon featuring a forest feast inside a tree.

I'm trying to remember and find a clip online of a cartoon from my childhood. I don't believe it was a series. It featured a community of forest animals and from what I remember, focused on them collecting food for the winter. But there was one animal who refused to help collect food. When winter finally came, all the other animals were inside (a tree?) having a feast, while the lone animal who refused was stuck outside in the cold/snow. He/she trudged over to the door (of the tree) and they let him inside and everyone ate. Any ideas?

Best answer: Was it a variant of the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper? Are you positive it was animals and not insects?
