white wine punch recipe?

I have a bunch of bottles of probably not-super-awesome white wines. I'd like to make a punch for a party this weekend and am looking for a good recipe for a fall/winter punch.

Bonus if the recipe uses lemons, because our little tree has a bunch.

Sangria? Cook's Illustrated has a recipe that calls for lemons and I'm told sangria is often better with cheaper wine.

I love this Citrus Champagne Punch, which calls for white wine and champagne.

I've made it with just sparkling, but I'm not sure it would work as well with just white wine and no carbonation. I suspect you could substitute ginger ale for the bubbly and get decent results.

My parents have made the above punch for years and it happily gets slurped up. Exchange the OJ for pineapple juice. Cooks champaign is cheap and cheerful for this.

Response by poster: Hmm, all of these sound good and now I'm riddled with indecision. I especially like the idea of substituting ginger ale for champagne in the last recipe...
