Looking for a large insulated stainless steel travel mug

I'm trying to stay more hydrated and I often find myself out about without water. I'm looking for a LARGE (preferably > 20 ounce) insulated stainless steel travel mug with a leakproof or leak-resistant sippy top.

It needs to be something that can still be held in one hand and have a lid that let's you drink without having to unscrew a remove a top. At this point, I'm leaning towards an insulated wide-mouth Kleen Kanteen bottle (20 oz) with the cafe lid, but I wanted to see if there were any higher capacity options out there.

Best answer: This 24oz Thermos has a lockable flip-top and a lip that allows you to drink very easily. It's watertight to the point where you can keep it in a bookbag. You can open it with one hand.

I was envying this yesterday, but that's only 16oz. Same basic idea as the Thermos nevercalm linked to.

Yeah, on a par with Thermos, if you can find something Zojirushi...those folks really know how to keep something hot. I have a zojirushi lunch container that keeps stuff hot for what seems like a day.

Best answer: I have a Contigo brand thing that I love.

Love it. Seriously, it never has leaked and I'm not exactly gentle with it, given my bus commute. I also use it for cold drinks mostly.

Best answer: I use an insulated Kleen Kanteen, and it works well. Note that the sippy lid is definitely only leak-resistant. I keep the real lid on whenever it is in my bag, and just keep the sippy lid at my desk at work.

I'm a huge fan of the Contigo style lid and it has never leaked on me.

stainless steel, .75l=25 and a bit ounces.
I really like mine.

I have a similar thermos to this Zojirushi model and it would totally fit the bill (if you left off the cup/cap). 32 ounces, nice handle, very high quality brand.

Way overboard, but a friend bought a stainless steel dewar (for liquid nitrogen) with a handle on the side that he uses for a beer mug. Keeps a beer cold for days, it seems, with the lid on. No built-in sippy top, though. :(

Response by poster: Thanks guys. Being a irredeemable klutz, I think the Contigo is going to be right up my alley. The 24oz Thermos looks nice, too.

Response by poster: Picked up the Contigo at Target last night. I love it. Thanks!
