need style ideas-- indie folk women

My indie folk band is playing a show, and I'm trying to get some ideas as to what to wear. I'm a short, un-thin (but I mean, not fat) asian girl. I'm also kind of a lesbian, middle-of-the-road in terms of gender expression (think My Drunk Kitchen). I like dressing up, but not the super girly stuff.
What are some indie musicians whose styles could be an inspiration for me?
Best answer: Savages
Wild Flag (Carrie Brownstein's new-ish band)
Kim Schifino (Matt and Kim)
Thao (Thao and the Get Down Stay Down)
Nancy Whang (The Juan McClean, LCD Soundsystem, various others)
