Can you recommend a music podcast that would be good to run to?

I'd like to listen to more music while running. I'm getting a little tired of my comedy podcasts (we must be approaching peak banter). Can you recommend a music podcast that would be good for running? Alternatively, what inputs would give me a Pandora station that would be good for running? I don't want to listen to mainstream country music, but like many other genres. I'd like upbeat music with lyrics.

Best answer: Have you ever used Songza? Like Pandora, but with mood/occasion-based playlists. They have a bunch of workout playlists, my favorites being the NPR workout playlist and "Ultimate Party Singalongs."

Podrunner is good as it has different BPMs which help you maintain optimum running cadence.

When you say music "podcast", do you mean a podcast about music, like Sound Opinions, or do you mean a podcast that just plays music?

Response by poster: One that plays music.

I run to my "Rhythm is a Dancer" Pandora station-- 90s dance music gets me going.

8tracks or Spotify is great if you have a music phone with an internet data plan.

Upbeat music with lyrics sounds like showtunes to me. Well, pretty much everything sounds like showtunes to me, but if you'd like to try some, here's one excellent program, and here's one other. They're both actually OTA radio programs, but have all their programs archived and available for download.

Not a podcast, but I listen to Girl Talk when I run.

I listened/subscribed to Indie Soup Runner (still available on iTunes), but it looks like the latest one came out in late 2012. Since then I've also switched to Songza.
