What's the music on the current TV advert for the Guardian?

Never heard it before; I'd just assumed it was something they'd commissioned especially for the ad. It's not in the Commercial Breaks and Beats database.

The guitar line reminds me of the Stone Roses' 'Waterfall' but maybe that's just showing my age...

I remember hearing it and thinking "What a pastiche of Waterfall by the Stone Roses." It's possible that it has been commissioned for the advert with that as a brief. I could be way off...

I thought it was some sort of mix of Marvo Ging from the Chemical Brother's last album. I suppose it sounds a bit like a mashup of the two!

Music is by "Lee Shepherd and is called 'Slide Groove'. He has worked with Massive Attack in the past. Unfortunately, the track is not available commercially at this time."
