songs about kissing? catch: the word kiss is not in the title

Looking for songs about kissing, but without the obvious word 'kiss' in the title. Avoiding 'lips' would be good too.

What kind of songs? Popular? Show tunes? There's Come to Me, Bend to Me from the musical Brigadoon.

Response by poster: ah good question! popular but genre doesn't matter. probably stay away from show tunes, even though i love 'em.

Jason Mraz’s Butterfly is about more than just kissing, but kissing is part of it. Butterfly kisses and…erm…other types.

"A Moment Like This" by Kelly Clarkson

Some people wait a lifetime,
For a moment like this
Some people search forever,
For that one special kiss
Oh, I can't believe it's happening to me

"The Longer the Waiting" by Josh Turner

Oh, the longer the waiting the sweeter the kiss
It’s better my darlin’, I promise you this

Also, "Felt Good on My Lips" by Tim McGraw

Bandits by Josh Ritter. They're bandits because they steal kisses, you see.

I consider Highschool Confidential to be one long wet French kiss from Carol Pope. I though so in 1980 and I think so today. It might not be what you're looking for, but this was the one song in the world that made me feel like I had just been ravaged by a hard necking session.

Beija Me by Jojo Effect. I guess this technically fits your description, as "Beija Me" translates into "kiss me" in Portuguese, I think.

Belle and Sebastian's "Seeing Other People" is about, among other things, "kissing just for practice." (I think it's about making out experimentally to figure out which gender they're into. Possibly.)

OMD's cover of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'"? You never close your eyes anymore when I touch your lips... (I say OMD's because, well, I like it)

And The Field Mice often mention kissing in songs. "So Said Kay" (a hand touches a cheek/a robe is taken off/wet kisses in the morning), "A Wrong Turn and Raindrops" (sharing spring evening kisses). Kissing isn't the focal point alone though, if that matters.

PJ Harvey mentions kissing/mouth stuff a lot in songs. "The Garden" (there inside the garden/came another with his lips/said 'won't you come and be my lover/let me give you a little kiss'...they kissed and the sun rose), "The Letter" (lick and lick it), "This Is Love" (I can't believe that the axis turns on suffering when you taste so good).

His Name Is Alive's "Famous Goodbye King" (missing you, kissing...).

This is a little...uh, but there's also Sonic Youth's cover of Nirvana's "Moist Vagina" (though it seems more an explicit/grody metaphor for sucking on a joint).

Sex Pistols' mean take-down of the New York Dolls, "New York" (kiss me/a kiss, a kiss/you're sealed with a kiss/looking for a kiss/i want to kiss/kiss this).

Pointer Sisters' (later covered by Bruce Springsteen) "Fire"

FYI: Bruce actually wrote the song and performed it occasionally during the Darkness on the Edge of Town tour, which was before the Pointer Sisters' cover was released. Unfortunately (to my sensibilities, anyway), most folks are only familiar with their cover.

Kristin Hersh's In Shock, a song (I guess) about sexual longing, culminates in the lines, "In the darkest room / where the music's loud / the mouth you're seeking / finds your mouth," and the effect is great.
