Outdoor reception and dinner venue in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter

I'm looking for suggestions for an outdoor reception and dinner venue in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. I've already contacted the Andaz hotel, the W hotel and the Hard Rock hotel, and think these are potentially great choices, but I'm wondering if there are any other options I should explore.

We're looking to have a cocktail reception and dinner (flexible on sit-down vs. buffet) for ~75 people in early October. Our requirements are that it be outside in the Gaslamp Quarter and of the same caliber as the above hotels.

Our budget is around $15K but if you've got a great suggestion that might be a bit more pricey, I'd still love to hear it. If it matters, this is for a corporate event.

We looked at various places for a similar event in Gaslamp. We didn't end up going there but I think we really liked the look of the Altitude Sky Lounge at the Marriott.

What we did end up doing, which was INCREDIBLE, was dinner and cocktail party on the deck of the USS Midway. No idea if that's feasible for you, but if it is ... man, a very memorable experience for all.
