Philly to Brooklyn New Years Eve Masochism Edition

Is traffic going to be crazy driving this evening/early night (Dec. 31st) from Philly to Brooklyn via Staten Island?

The Turnpike should not be a problem at all, since so many people are taking the day off. Getting into the City will be. The earlier you can get here, the better.

I doubt the getting into the city part will be a problem if ennui's driving across Staten Island. This shouldn't be a problem with regard to traffic, just look out for drunk drivers!
