Need a tshirt replacement

Lands' End used to make what they called a heavyweight shirt. It was 100% cotton, tagless, fabric was a little coarse and it had a very satisfying weight. They also weren't too long and fit my somewhat-short torso well. They don't make it anymore! Do you know the shirts I'm talking about? Have you found a replacement?

You can find old Lands End tee shirts by the bucketload at Goodwill and on eBay.

I don't know the shirts you mean, but LL Bean has a great series of heavy-weight, tagless t-shirts that might fit the bill. Here's one example, but they have various styles in this line, including a trimmer fit, a pocket, etc.

Response by poster: Tried the LL Bean; not what I'm looking for, unfortunately. It's still pretty thin and a bit jersey-y.
