Trying to identify a band logo.

A friend works in an antique store, and they just got a few cool old band items- original Joy Division stuff and whatnot. Among these was a ticket stub without a band name on it. The logo was a 7 with an equal sign through it.
Based on the address on the back, they seem to be associated with 99 Records, and were performing at 99 Macdougal Street in NYC. Any idea what band it belongs to?

Response by poster: Whoops, sorry, mistake there. They were performing at 84 King Street.

84 King Street was the Paradise Garage, do you have an image of the ticket? Otherwise, you can comb through the internet's collection of stub scans.

84 King Street was the Paradise Garage in 99's time - is there a date on the stub?

Response by poster: Yes! Thank you ShutterBun. My friend is quite thankful. He's a Reddit man and I told him the Metafilter hivemind would solve his problem.

Response by poster: Ha! I just took another look at the ticket stub. That flyer is actually from the exact same show!
