How much should I charge for full ownership and rights to a font I created?

A few years ago I designed a font called Half Cut Gothic and made it available as freeware at Dafont and FontSpace, but now a marketing firm here in Canada has contacted me regarding "ownership purchase". How much do you think would be a fair price? It's a large marketing firm and I know they are reputable, but is there anything I should be wary of?

If you have released it for free I am not sure what you are selling to the marketing firm. Obviously they can't have it exclusive anymore.

Response by poster: Yeah, it seems a little strange to me too (under the freeware license on it now it's permitted to use the font commercially) but whatever. I guess what they're looking for is legal control of the typeface, not just the font "software" -- as in they want to make a logo using it and want to prevent other people using the font in other logos... Maybe?

Anyway, they asked me, so I want to be able to give them some kind of answer.
