how can I open an embedded YouTube video from an iPad browser?

Is it possible to open the YouTube app from an embedded video in safari on the iPad?

Doesn't it do that automatically in the iPhone?

Response by poster: Well, on the iPad an embedded YouTube video will begin playing within the page. I can find no way to open that playing video in either the YouTube app itself, or even at youtube.com. My intent is to be able to save and view comments on videos I find embedded on various webpages.
