How do I get slippery shoes?

I have carpet in my apartment and I like to dance I would like to be barefooted but the carpet makes it difficult to spin.
What can I wear on my feet for anti traction?
I really want to slide around like a ninja, my ideas thus far consist of wax paper on the bottom of my slippers and plastic bag shoes. Do they sell a shoe for this? I've been shopping for slippers but they all seem to have tread.
Thanks!

Cotton kung fu shoes are the slipperiest things I have ever had on my feet (other than that pudding wrestling incident.) They're cheap, too. But get them a bit small, because they tend to stretch and then they flop off.

Ballet shoes work well on carpet once you've worn them in a bit to make the bottoms a bit shiny. I wouldn't recommend anything super slippery as it makes your movement quite difficult to control. Also, if you put something slippery on the bottom, make sure it's uniformly slippery all over (having slipped over on my ballroom shoes more times than I can remember from putting too much weight on the super slippy bit).

It might be better to put a temporary floor down instead. Use sheets of plywood hinged together, then fold them up and put them away when you're done. Make sure the cracks are a tight line when it's unfolded, you don't want a trip hazard.

Moccasins that have been worn enough for the sole to be smooth and slick are awesome for this.

The best solution to this I ever found was a really large cardboard box, unfolded. I think the box was for a new dishwasher? Anyway, it was huge and, when unfolded and cut down one of the creases, covered most of my living room floor. It was really comfortable to dance on barefoot: cardboard + carpet = perfect sprung floor.

Dance sneakers that I have worn would not slip on carpet. The ones I have right now are just slippery enough on a polished dance floor but they stick like anything on carpet (they're fab on polished wooden floors when you're giving your feet a bit of a break though!)

My dad puts duct tape on the bottom of all of his shoes so that he can go tango-dancing whenever the mood strikes, no matter what shoes he's wearing.

Go old school----cardboard. Worked for breakdancers everywhere.

I haven't tried them myself, but I've seen people who wanted a bit more slipperyness when dancing barefoot use something like these:
