Can you show me some jaw-dropping or spirit-lifting Olympic photography?

The Olympics is coming to my city, and I am feeling pretty bah-humbug about the whole thing. Can you direct me to any Olympics photography that will remind me of:

i) the joys of athleticism
ii) the spirit of internationalism
iii) the nobility of humanity
iv) anything else that is jaw-dropping or spirit-lifting?

I am looking for photographs -- not films, not text. Many thanks!

It's hard to forget Mary Lou Retton's Sports Illustrated cover capturing her pure joy at having absolutely nailed the vault in 1984 (article, video). Mary Lou earned a perfect 10 back when scores were out of 10, and it won her the all-around gold medal. It was the first time a female gymnast from outside of Eastern Europe had ever won it.

Matthias Steiner lifting a combined 461kg (1016.3 lbs) for Olympic Gold. That's a 203kg (447.5 lbs) snatch with a 258kg (568.8 lbs) clean and jerk!

Boston.com's The Big Picture photoseries did a two-parter on the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.

Eric Moussambani falls into the spirit lifting rather than the jaw dropping. The image needs some backstory, and I know people take the piss out of him, but I think it was excellent he was there. (The IOC did not share this view.)

This and this won the Pulitzer; this one is heartbreaking.

This blog post has several, including some of those already linked. The Jesse Owens photo certainly qualifies as jawdropping: I actually gasped when it loaded.

Derek Redmond being helped to the finish line by his dad. I can't even type that without tearing up.
