How do I re-create the broken camera/video camera effect on this video?

How do I re-create the broken camera/video camera effect on this video?

I want to shoot a music video using a variety of cameras that have different defects on them.

I believe this may be of help ?

I'd rather shoot the video with cameras that are actually broken as opposed to applying this affect afterwards.

Is there any way to deliberately break a camera (digital or VHS) to make it still function but in a weird way?

Most digital glitch art would do something to alter the video file after recording. The effect will depend upon the codec used in the file.

Some people will also do circuit bending. The only approach that I sort of understand is they will find resistors on the board and wire in a knob to allow them to vary the resistance. But I've only seen people do that with generative sources, like toys that play sounds or Super Nintendos, I've never seen anyone do it with a camera and don't know if it'd get good results.
