I'm looking for famous pan-flute solos in pop music.
The boundaries of "pop" in this case can be pretty wide.

How flexible are the boundaries of "pan-flute solos?" There's Love and Rockets' No New Tales to Tell. It falls squarely under pop music, and the video is famous for the monkey playing a pan-flute solo, but the actual recording is of a regular flute.

Men at Work - Down Under (...or is that just a flute-flute? I'm not good with flutes. Great song, though!)

it's probably not pop, although at least one pop band, the lovin' spoonful, covered it - but quills are a sort of pan pipe and henry thomas' fishing blues is pretty famous

@phunimee--it's a flute flute, I'm sure. But thanks for the link to the video--lots of nice Aussie touches like how the man in Brussels gives the sandwich.
