Help me not burn my house down

The heat guard around my oven door has come away slightly as seen here. How can I fix this permanently?

Best answer: Something like this should do it; if you don't want to order it online your local chimney sweep/fireplace/wood stove place might help you out. They may even sell/give you a few drops rather than you having to buy a whole bottle for a small repair.

Has the connector that snaps into the small hole in the door come completely out of the door seal?
