Resorts in the Poconos

I'm looking at resorts in the Poconos for a weekend getaway, and would be interested to hear some suggestions.
I would particularly like access to a pool (in mid-May, so it would probably need to be indoor) and food on-site, either as part of an all-inclusive package or not. We'll be traveling from NYC via public transit, so a place that offers train/bus station pickup would be nice, too.

A friend's very choosey family has been loving Woodloch for generations. Looks like it's geared towards families, but they've always said great things about the food and accomodations.

Mohonk Mountain House is awesome, but pricey. They have an indoor pool, hedge maze, high tea, fireplaces in many rooms and they will come start the fire for you if you like. You can go to the greenhouse and rent out plants to have in your room. Lots of hiking trails, canoes for the lake, etc.
Also, Anthony Bourdain made a mention of it on No Reservations, which I can't seem to find a clip of anywhere.
It's right near New Paltz and they have a transportation department you can call to set up pick up. We honeymooned there 9 years ago and often dream of going back...

(Fyrebelly, I think Mohonk is in the Catskills, not the Poconos.)

Response by poster: Mohonk looks awesome and very NYC-accessible; I am open to similar suggestions in the Catskills.

Ah, very good! Then I second its recommendation, as Mohonk is indeed lovely (and I got up there without a car, so it's also easily accessible).

We had a great experience at the Fernwood. Its in East Stroudsburg, about 2 hours outside the city. Its not super updated, but the people were great and we were more than comfortable. Nice pool, very quiet rooms.
