Can anyone identify these two music videos aired on MTVU involving spaceships/astronauts?

Within the last two years, I recall seeing two videos on MTVU at my university that always struck me as being similar to one another, but I never caught the names of either song, and I would like to locate them again.

In the first video, there is a girl in a spaceship (space station?) hurtling towards a planet, maybe Earth. She systematically removes each of her limbs until she can't move. She might be a robot? I don't remember exactly.

In the second video, there's a man and a woman, presumably dating, and the guy is an astronaut. He has to go on a mission, and I think he dies. At the end of the video you see the girl put on his astronaut helmet and go into the yard. It had a very dreamlike quality about it.

One of these bands/songs might have had the word "wolf" in it? Or I might just be making that up. Help please?

Best answer: The first one is Broken Bells, "The Ghost Inside", I believe.

I'd remembered the Broken Bells video (mostly because I found it horrifically depressing, but also, hey, Christina Hendricks!).
