Where can I get a cheap paint job for my motorcycle in San Diego?

Where in San Diego can I get a simple paint job for my motorcycle for a relatively cheap price?

I'm about to buy a second hand motorcycle, (a 1983 honda silverwing), and while it seems to be in good shape and there are a lot of things I like about the bike, I don't like it's paint job. The guy I'm buying it from didn't like the original color of the bike so he spray painted it in black and white. From a distance it looks like a police cruiser, and up close it looks like a motorcycle that has been spray painted black and white. The white portion is just the fuel tank and the fenders, which all that I really want to change right now. I'm a busy grad student so I don't really have time to do this myself. I've searched around on the internet but haven't been able to find places around San Diego that advertise that they do bike paint jobs. Can anyone point me to a good bodyshop that does bike paint jobs for relatively cheap? I'm hoping to spend no more than a few hundred dollars but I don't know if that is even feasible. Anyways, any tips on places to go would be much appreciated

- Ask a paint guy at a local shop if he can do it 'freelance' in his spare time.

- You can save some $ by removing the fairing, tank and any other pieces to be painted yourself.

- The paint guy will still need to sand and prep those pieces (this is the most costly & labor intensive part of the job), unless you can do that, too.

Good luck.

I've bought several cars from San Diego, and one thing they all have in common is a cheap paint job from across the border in Tijuana. Is that still something that happens/might be worth investigating?
