How and where do I get a temporary tattoo like Hansel's

Dear MeFi,

For a party I am looking to get a temporary tattoo such like the one Hansel (from Zoolander) has in this picture. I am completely unfamiliar with tattoos, either temporary or permanent. I think it would suit me best to buy some sort of "sticker" online. Is this possible, and if so, what website sells them? Or do I have to go by a (henna) tattoo shop?

Also, is there a specific name for tattoos with this design and location on the chest?

Thanks!

I've seen temporary tattoo places at a few malls, and at just about every carnival or fair I've been to. They're usually airbrushed with a stencil or freehand, and last anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks, depending on materials used.

It is supposed to be a Maori tattoo - if you search for 'maori temporary tattoo' there are a lot of places that sell them.

You are correct that temporary tattoos are basically very thin stickers. They can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks depending on the quality and the skin they are applied to. Optionally you could have someone actually draw on you with henna or some other ink.

Response by poster: It would also be great if anybody can help me find a similar design. It's Maori, supposedly?

It might be easier to trace the tattoo in Illustrator and print it using temporary tattoo paper.
