Time for tinto de verano and rebujito: what's the closest equivalent to Spanish gaseosa that's commonly available in US supermarkets?

The wikipedia entry for tinto de verano says that Sprite or 7-Up can be substituted for the gaseosa. But I think Sierra Mist Natural would be a more "authentic" substitute because it's got real sugar rather than HFCS. Iit'll be with the Coke products at the store.

La Casera actually has artificial sweeteners: saccharin and the (FDA-banned) sodium cyclamate.

I had a German friend recommend Squirt for a similar cocktail that they make in Germany. Note - please search for Squirt soda and not just for Squirt. You'll thank me for it
