Move my email!

How can I mass forward Hotmail emails to either Yahoo or GMail?
I found a cool site that makes books out of emails, which is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Unfortunately, they only support Yahoo and GMail. All my emails are on Hotmail. Two part question:
1. Is there any way at all to mass forward emails to a GMail or Yahoo account? I have a LOT (300-400).
2. Is there another company that provides a similar service (collecting and editing your emails and making them into a print book) that can pull my emails off of Hotmail?
NB: I'm fairly technically illiterate, but SO is capable of programming, understanding technical details, etc.

2 years ago I switched from Hotmail to Gmail, and I used Thunderbird to transfer my emails over. Here's how I did it:
Create gmail account
Download Thunderbird
When Thunderbird is starting, it asks you to set up an account. I used my gmail.
Then I clicked the option to set up another account. I used my hotmail, and was now able to see all my hotmail emails within Thunderbird.
I believe I just right-clicked on each folder in hotmail, then clicked copy, then pasted them into my gmail inbox.
Some of the details on this are a bit fuzzy because it was 2 years ago that I did it. But you can see more on using Thunderbird with webmail here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Using_webmail_with_your_email_client . I believe I also had to enable IMAP on each account for this to work. Maybe someone else can fill in some more details.

Response by poster: Oh it worked! And it was so easy! And I was going crazy trying to figure it out. Thanks msbutah, for reminding me that the hivemind is amazing.
