I'd like to make a wedding toast for my friend (the bride) in the style of Shel Silverstein's book Runny Babbit. The style is referred to as spoonerism. She is a kindergarten teacher and I think she would enjoy it(although everyone else may not). Just a line to get the juices flowing would be great!

About the amazing couple: Her: blonde, teacher, fabulous, girly girl, clever, runner. Him: Tall, dark, handsome, attorney, witty, quick, golfer. Together: met in college. Dated each other. Date other people. Got together for good after college. Perfect for each other. Bonus points for using the word amazeballs. Oh, and if this is a terrible idea and I should scrap it all together, please let me know! Thanks!

Hint: when you give the toast, talk slow! give people time to catch the word flips.

To get you in the mood, you could listen to a bit of the charming Stanley Unwin.

I'd throw in a spoonerism or two and leave it at that, because people might tune it out after not understanding the joke, especially if drinks are flowing.

Anecdote: I was at a wedding where the (inebriated) best man said "May every day be better than the next," and people cheered. A few sober folks tittered, but it seems most found the sentiment to be sweet.

Ah, Bunderful beat me to the Capitol Steps. I saw them live once, and man, that was hilarious. Anything they've got will have to be brilliant.
