You are around 20 years old and live in Spain. What songs would you like to hear on acoustic guitar?
What are songs everyone knows when someone gets out an acoustic guitar at a party (in Spain)?
Think Wonderwall or maybe even Lemon Tree.
From experience i think "Peter Pan" by El canto del loco, "lady madrid" by pereza and "gimme tha power" by molotov work pretty well.
I prefer newer songs (90's till present day) or but older songs are okay if they are known by my age group!
Doesnt necessarily have to be rock music! Famous rap, pop or even house songs that i can transcribe to guitar are okay too!

Heard a guy at the Placa de Catalunya underground playing and singing Karma Police. Sounded awesome.

Response by poster: caek: what if that guys gets handed an acoustic guitar and gets egged on to play something? Besides, everyone loves the foreign guy who sings in your language in a bad accent ;)

There's a guy who plays occasionally at my local brewpub and does an acoustic guitar version of Who Am I? (What's My Name?) by Snoop Dogg. Always gets a huge response and something about the laid back vibe of the song kind of lends itself to one man acoustic guitar.

Firstly, what caek said. Secondly, play paquito el chocolatero. If among drunks, party will go into full throttle, you will be never forgotten.
