What services allow people to send information to our organization via text message?

I'm trying to implement a system where attendees at our events can text their email addresses to us (e.g. "text your you@domain to ###### to sign up for our list"). I've Googled around but I can't find the right search terms to find what I want. Can anybody help?

Best answer: The magic term is SMS Short Codes. Googling that gives you tons of companies that want to sell you this service.

Response by poster: "SMS Short Codes" was indeed what I wanted. Thanks!

It looks like there are three options:

1. Use Google Voice. It's free, but requires a ten digit number.
2. Lease an SMS short code. The minimum cost seems to be around $500/month.
3. Use a shared SMS short code with service like TextingForward, TextMarks, or Twilio. These seem to cost circa $75/month and up.

Am I missing anything?
