Name of musician? Has hyphen in his last name - Song/Album called "Slide"

I need to find the name of a musician. All I know is that he has a song or album called "Slide", that he's male, and that his last name has a hyphen in it.

The song I heard didn't have any male voices at all ... it had a few female voices. It was poppy and very bright. A Japanese girl was listening to it and I caught the name really quickly as I passed by her laptop in a hurry. The last names seemed rather unusual, but they were definitely Western. The first name might've been David, but I'm not sure.

I searched for all tracks and albums called "Slide" on freedb.org and Soulseek. It didn't turn up, and yes, I would recognize the name if I saw it. Any help would be appreciated.

Try allmusic.com. This link may not take you directly to song results, since they use javascript functions for all their links, which is a PITA. If not just do a song search allmusic.com. Good Luck!
