Looking for rug recommendations for a mostly red living room

Looking for rug suggestions for a one bedroom apartment.

This is for a living room in one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan. In it, I have a red couch, red glass desk, book stand and orange chair (this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Red-Glass-Desk-Bookcase-and-Printer-Stand-Value-Bundle/14248186). There are also white curtains, exposed brick wall, and a black TV + tv stand.
Any recommendations for a rug? I'm looking for something cool looking, comfortable and (hopefully) not too expensive.
Thanks!

If you're in the NYC area, and don't mind waiting, Einstein Moomjy occasionally have awesome warehouse sales, where you can pick up very-high-end rugs and carpets for close to nothing, provided that you're willing to grab a zipcar, and schlep over to New Jersey.

Not exactly helpful, but just throwing that out there.....

My wife actually made a rug from old cut up t-shirts that she weaved together. i love it and it feels great under the feet

You could run with the orange and get FLOR tiles in orange.

Overstock has lots of cool options. They have everything. From shag to flokati to wool. Patterns, solids, etc.

You could do a solid colored shag rug in white, or off-white. You have brick and colorful furniture. White might be a nice idea to give the place some lightness and to match the curtains. This style is available in 5x8 and 8x11.

I'm very fond of my Brick Walk rug from Target. I own the hall runner and medium-sized versions as well (don't know if they still sell those sizes), but this larger one really ties the room together.

Here's a cool orange and white one from CB2: switchback rug. They also have some neutral rugs if you'd rather not keep the bright color scheme going to the floor. A light gray could be nice with what you've got.

In the vein of the CB2 rug above, I think a zebra-patterned rug like this would be really fun - it would tie in your white curtains and black TV stand, not clash with your orange or red pieces, and add some visual interest. Overstock.com and Walmart.com have tons and tons of cheap cheap stuff - check there for ideas! Best of luck & happy shopping!
