Old Book! Any help finding would be appreciated. Looked allover but never found.. Summary: woman awakes to realise that she is patient in a mental hospital. Possibly something to do with LSD psychosis. American, mighthave been written in the 60's or 70s.
My gut feeling tells me there was "Watermelon" and/or "Diaries" in the title, but my recollection is hazy at best and internet sluething results in ziltch. The main character never realised she was in an insane asylum and the people around her were hospital patients and staff.
Any help greatly appreciated. I read this about 20 years ago when someone passed it onto to me.
