Career guidance based on personality type

I am looking for book recommendations on career guidance using personality type.

I used a book similar to this more than a decade ago and it helped me find out more about myself, and in the end find a job I enjoy.

Planning to get above mentioned book for a friend. However, I would like to request book recommendations that you've read and found useful, hopefully with a basis using personality type (or not).

Thanks!

Best answer: Meyers Briggs is the most common one, but my boss gave me a copy of Strengths Finder, that included a code for an online test and other support, where I was given a list of my top 5 strengths and the types of jobs those strengths correlate to.

Best answer: Only tangentially related, but still interesting is Daniel Goldman's Emotional Intelligence.

Response by poster: Cheers all!
Am actually reading Daniel Goldman's book, kinda tough to read tbh even though the stuff in there is quite compelling.

Thanks!
