Who makes Adrian Brody's jacket in the movie Splice?

What is the brand/make of Adrian Brody's winter jacket in the recent sci-fi thriller movie "Splice?"

In 2010's Splice Adrian Brody's character, Clive, wears a green down winter jacket with a fur-lined hood. I've been trying to figure out what make/model this jacket is.

I've found out that Alex Kavanagh was the costume designer but I haven't been able to find contact info for her anywhere on the web besides "IMDB Pro" which I'm not paying for...Seaches for a Facebook/Twitter account have proved unsuccessful.

Anyone out there happen to know who makes that jacket?

You could try Filmjackets.com. Either submit an ID request here or search the forums.

You can see the jacket in this image. Looks like a Parajumpers 'Kodiak' parka to me (warning, horrible flash website).

Here's a shopping link that shows the shoulder detail - same badge.

And here it is on Coolspotters (they say he's wearing a Gobi, but it's clearly the longer Kodiak jacket), and mentioned on an Italian website (Google Translate link).

For reference, the way I found it was first to check the IMDB page for still images so I could get a decent look at the parka. That style of parka is generally called an 'antartic' or 'expedition' parka, so I did google image searches for both of those. The Kodiak has that distinctive orange stripe/pull thing on it and the shoulder patch, so I looked for those - it was on the second page of results. Once I had the name of the jacket, a few more Googles got me everything else.

But I have to say, I love the fact that there's a whole forum out there dedicated to identifying jackets from films. Don't ever change internet.

Response by poster: Thanks for the breakdown. I was going the route of trying to find out from the costume designer lol. I looked at the stills but was having trouble identifying or coming up with terms that would match!

Actually, I might have been able to track down the costume designer, so it wasn't such a crazy idea.
