Looking for a good therapist/couples counselor in Washington DC

My wife and I are looking for a marriage counselor and therapist in Washington, DC to help us through a rough time, and who can meet at odd hours.
My wife is dealing with some serious depression issues right now, and I'm dealing with (and often failing at) helping her through them. We're looking for someone who can meet with us at the same and also separately to help both my wife and I through this.
Someone who has experience with both couples work and depression is definitely needed. The catch is that we work long and often unpredictable hours, so being able to meet in the later evening or on the weekends is also essential. We're hoping we can get some referrals from the wonderful people of MeFi.
Best neighborhoods for us are downtown, Dupont/Logan circle, Woodley Park and Cleveland Park, but if there's a brilliant person available, we're willing to travel a bit.

Just fyi...I don't think she specializes in marriage counseling but I've seen her alone and with another person.

Please make sure that whoever you find is committed to working collaboratively with a skilled physician who is (hopefully)treating your wife's depression. Serious depression means different things to different persons but "serious depression" needs medical intervention and management. There is little evidence that talk therapy directly benefits those suffering serious depression but it can be extremely useful in helping manage stresses which might precipitate or exacerbate the depression. And it can be very useful for family members in helping them focus on what they can/can not do. Wishing you well. Perhaps your wife has already done this--but part of seeing a skilled physician/psychiatrist is to rule out other somatic causes--endocrine, medications, neurological etc.

A name I have been given is Sally Madden, 301-589-8809. She is a Clinical Psychologist and has offices in Dupont Circle and Takoma Park. I don't know about her hours though.
