Greetings From Typeface

What fonts can I use to emulate a Greetings From... postcard?

There's the big puffy cutout font that's the name of the place, and usually there's a more handwritten font for "Greetings From." I'd prefer good quality open-source fonts.

The Vacation Postcard font is good for this, especially if you have access to a tool like Illustrator that can warp text into a swooping curved shape.

FontSquirrel has a pretty decent "curated" list of retro fonts which are free and licensed for commercial use. They have a script category, too.

I second the retro fonts @ FontSquirrel. "Seaside Resort" is particularly appealing to me.

Best answer: If you find that the free stuff isn't up to snuff: FF Matinee, Bigticy, and more.

Poplar would work. It's an Adobe font, but you may already have it.
