Is there a Wordpress MU hosting service for multiple blogs under a single custom domain?

I'm part of a blog collective with some 20 blogs, running Wordpress MU. We're having a world of trouble with our hosting provider an sys admin. Help us switch.

We run our own hosted Wordpress MU, under our own domain, where each blog gets its own subdomain. The service is run by a sys admin who helps with basic systems management tasks, Wordpress upgrades and sometimes fixing template problems, etc.

Though some of the members are technically inclined, nobody has the time to assume full responsability for this server. I have been looking for other hosting options on the internet for Wordpress MU, but nothing I have seen would cover all this: 20 blogs under a single custom domain, each with a specific subdomain.

Have any of you heard of such a service? Any recommendations of other possibilities I may be missing? Keep in mind these blogs have been running for quite some time, there's a lot of content already posted, customized templates, etc, so migration is an issue - we'd like to stay under Wordpress.

Response by poster: Jesus, I should read the things I write. I case it isn't clear: our current sysadmin sucks. Slow response times, the server is offline for days at a time, problems pop up all over the place. The guy is clearly overwhelmed and we want to switch.

The upcoming Wordpress 3.0 is incorporating multiple sub-domain blogs. If you can wait till the stable release, change to a host that can manage the 3.0 version.

I assume by saying sysadmin and our server, you have a in house server and a sysadmin to take care of operating systems and web server level tasks.
If that's the case get a hosting plan from a provider and install wpmu and move your blogs there. Then everything systems level would be taken care of by the hosting company and you only need to worry about wordpress administration (creating new blogs, user, etc...) and from time to time upgrading wp (it's just a one click process)
