Credit union, in Austin, with online bill pay?
We're finally leaving GLOBOBANK. I'd like to move to a credit union. The only thing I like about GLOBOBANK is the ease of use of their bill pay - I can (for instance) set up my mortgage payments and then never think about them again and they just work. Is there a credit union, in Austin, that can do this?

I had UFCU before, but have found their website somewhat clunky. I guess most CU websites are. In any case, I got this checking account at United Heritage Credit Union (UHCU) a couple of years back, and I haven't had one complaint. I have their "heritage" checking account that pays good interest as long as you satisfy some monthly conditions -- I don't think they offer this account anymore. I've been using their BillPay without any issues. I pay all my credit cards and bills using the bill pay. And I've always received great service whenever I had to visit the branch or the drive-thru.

And one more thing: UHCU does work with Mint, which is very important to me. I remember at one point UFCU had issues with Mint -- I don't know if that's been fixed.

Yeah, I'm a United Heritage Credit Union account holder thanks to a previous MeFi recommendation about their rewards checking program. I've never used their bill pay - but I think it's free *if* you have three bill pay things set up? So might want to check on that.
I haven't ever actually used their bill pay, but yeah, just came to say I don't have any complaints about them, which is good. And yeah, the Mint thing, that's good too. Hadn't thought of that!

UFCU's issues with Mint have been fixed, and they've had some site redesign in the last year to streamline things. Also, I believe online bill pay is free now.

One more vote for UHCU. I took out a loan from them and have been banking with them for a couple years now. No complaints. Nice customer service every time I went to a physical branch.
