From one of the answers to a question I posted yesterday ... wwwinamp will control winamp via your web-browser. Even has a special mode that conserves bandwidth and screen space for your internet enabled PDA.

I'd love to do this. I have a new Palm phone with bluetooth, and would love something like that clicker thing that's on the mac.

If you have a wireless connection on your PDA, you can always use VPN for Pocket PC, Windows CE and Palm OS. In fact, VNC can be used to remotely control practically any program on a PC.

Damn, I got that WAY wrong! What I should have said was VNC, and it appears to be available for Pocket PC and Palm-based PDAs. One of many desktop implementations is available here.
