Marzipan in San Francisco

Where in San Francisco can I get an awesome tray of fruit-shaped marzipan?
When I was a kid, there was a donut shop that made marzipan every year around Christmas time. You had to place orders ahead of time and pick up your tray a few days before Christmas.
I'd completely forgotten about the stuff until a recent trip to Boston, where every bakery has it right alongside the pastries and cupcakes. My family is coming to town for Christmas, and I thought it would be fun to get some from a local bakery.
I don't seem to be looking in the right places. From finding similar questions on Yelp, I know that Cost Plus and specialty candy stores carry it, but I was hoping to buy it from a bakery or someplace that actually makes it in-house.
Thanks.

You might try Victoria Pastry in North Beach. I have a vague memory of a long-ago holiday work party where someone brought marzipan treats, and I think they got them at Victoria.

No special San Francisco knowledge here but what you need is an Italian bakery. Dianda's sounds like a good one.

Well I was curious and called the Hayes Valley location for Miette and they don't have fruit shapes right now but they do have snowmen, pumpkins, and mushrooms. I don't know why they have mushrooms but they do, in case that'll suffice.

The mushrooms are probably for decorating a Bouche de Noel . It's a log shaped Christmas cake traditionally accessorized with meringue or marzipan 'shrooms.

Bouche de Noel, of course!
The Candy Store has it (see pics). I don't think they bake it themselves but it's an awesome shop nonetheless. I bet she knows where to get it.
