Have the United States maps been updated in the 22nd edition of Goode's World Atlas?

I'm wondering if anyone here knows if the U.S. maps have been updated in the new, 22nd edition of Rand McNally's Goode's World Atlas. (The 22nd edition was released in July 2009. I haven't been able to find it in any local bookstores, nor are there any book previews online.)

... Did the boundaries of the US change since the last edition? Did I miss a memo?

I don't have any specific knowledge of Goode's, but in response to Jacqueline's comment, it's possible that different cities and towns may be shown (e.g., if they show cities above a certain population cutoff), or new roads may be shown.

Well, there's like 20 or so maps of various data of the US. I would assume that things like the land cover, political, and climate change maps would be updated, since Rand McNally says so (granted, not specifically about the US) on their website.

If you are thinking of a specific map of the US, I would email the publisher.

No. But cities grew and shrank, new roads were built, urban areas expanded, etc. The 21st edition still used U.S. maps from the early 1970s. Many Interstates are missing. Many cities that are now huge aren't even on the map, and of course the population symbols for a lot of cities are out of date.

Yes, these are the changes I'm looking for.

It seems like you caught on to my point: Rand McNally says some of the atlas was updated, but they aren't specific as to what content was updated. I emailed the publisher. Twice now. Never got a response.

There are about 16 or so maps of different regions of the U.S. in Goode's (at least in the 21st edition). I want to know if these have been updated/modernized, especially in light of Rand McNally advertising that a lot of changes were made. I know that a lot of librarians, teachers, and professors are members, and I figured that maybe a few people on here would have been familiar with the new edition.

Please no more smartass answers.
