How the hell do I export a Vox blog to Wordpress?

So I used to have a blog on Vox. I've since moved to Wordpress.com, but there was some good stuff on the Vox that I'd like to take with me. However, Six Apart seems to have decided that they don't want to have an easy way to move my content off the site, and their tech support people say that an export tool "isn't in the long-term plan."

This guy seems to have something in the works, but it looks like vapourware from here. Does anyone else have a crafty solution?

This post explains how to use the RSS feed to import posts into Wordpress. It only works for 10 entries at a time though.

Response by poster: Agh. I should have mentioned that I saw that post, but it only seems to work with the software version of Wordpress (i.e. running it on your own site as opposed to hosting on Wordpress.com). The import options on Wordpress.com don't seem to include plain ol' XML/RSS.

By hand. Very slowly.

This is one of the reasons I moved my blog from Vox to Wordpress.com in the first place (ease of export). I am now in the process of moving my archives over manually.

As far as I know, and I have searched repeatedly, there just isn't a way to do this other than manually. Vox claimed they were working on an export feature, but now admit it's on the very back of the back burner and they're not even sure it will ever be released.

(But I'm hopeful someone else knows of some magical process.)
