What are some albums that make good use of the duduk? I've been hearing this instrument crop up more and more in film scores, such as Ronin and The Hulk, and it delights me.
I think you'll find the duduk on the "Passion of the Christ" soundtrack and on Peter Gabriel's "Last Temptation of Christ" soundtrack.

Is that a duduk on the closing track of System of a Down's "Toxicity"?

...and on Peter Gabriel's "Last Temptation of Christ" soundtrack.
Called Passion, oddly enough. It's excellent. I have no idea if it features a duduk (wish I knew what one sounded like, by name), but it's a long-time favorite of mine. According to my iTunes, I listed to a track from that CD 5 tracks ago. :)

The credits for Peter Gabriel's Passion list two players of the "Armenian Doudouk" on track 1 and one player of the "Kurdish Duduk" (similar instrument?) on track 4. Great album, too.
For those who liked Passion, also worth seeking is Passion Sources, a comp that Peter Garbriel put together of the original traditional source music.
Back on the duduk subject, if you like Michael Brook at all, he has an album with Djivan Gasparyan entitled Black Rock.

IMHO the most prominent player of the instrument is Djivan Gasparian - seek out his record "I Will Not Be Sad In This World." You can find a copy by searching on the title from GEMM - or via amazon etc.
