So long, tax deductions!

OldNewsFollowUpFilter: Whatever happened to all those kids whose parents trekked across the good ol' US of A last summer to legally abandon them at Nebraska hospitals?

(Not that my kids were driving me crazy this morning before school or anything, mind you...) ;)

Yeah, I read this, but do we know the aftermath of any actual cases...?

This Nebraska father dropped off his nine children and now has twins on the way. As of last June, most of the children he abandoned had been placed in foster care (apparently an aunt is trying to adopt them).

In that particular case the aunt adopted several of the children.

Here are some other cases.

Looks like many of the children went into foster care back in their home state and some of the parents were charged with neglect.
